SUSTAINABILITY
AUTHORITY

The Urban Sustainability Authority (USA or Urban Sustain) wants you to know there is a connection between many of the chronic illness such as asthma and educational disparities for African Americans, Asian Americans, Latinos, indigenous peoples and the poor who bear the disproportionate burden of

America

's environmental hazards.

Urban Sustain believes that change must occur where problems arise at the local level. Urban Sustain grassroots programs, initiatives and campaigns works to empower and inform inner city communities of environmental toxins in the air (indoor and outdoor), water, land or food which may contribute to several minority disparities.

Urban Sustain resources are geared to produce community leaders and educators of all ages. Participants, apprentices and volunteers are given the skills and tools to become knowledgeable advocates in their communities.

As we all know, most not-for profits organizations cannot exist without the help from the concerned and dedicated citizens it represents.
